Be Your Own Universe

Nature with Universe

Be your sun every morning. Remember that every day starts with rays of light, every morning you can see the colors more clearly, every morning you can warm yourself up from yesterday’s winds and every morning you get a new chance to shine.

Be your moon every night. Calm yourself down from the madness of the day, listen to yourself, to your thoughts and to your feelings. Reflect. Reflect on your life, on your love and on the ideas that you can’t tell anyone when the sun is up. But more than anything, remember that if you want people to see you, you have to be full and visible, you can’t hide the most beautiful parts of yourself if you want to light up the dark.

Be your own star. Look for your light when it’s dark, even when you burn, let your explosion produce little diamonds and transform your pain into pearls of wisdom.

Be a star in the sense that you don’t need validation or confirmation from anyone that you are a star. A star just knows its worth, a star knows it’s a star whether people agree or not. Be a star in everything you do and watch the whole galaxy make room for you.

Be your own sky. Be vast and open to life and new opportunities. Embrace the rain, the storm and the thunder. Know how to exist in any kind of weather but never forget to make a rainbow after every storm, to clear yourself after the rain and to keep making art with the clouds that come your way reflecting all shapes of life.

Be your own sea. Keep swimming in your depth till you find your treasure. Keep crashing in your own waves so you can learn how to be still. Move with the current until you find your peace and bring people joy whenever you can. Let them enjoy your beauty, let them laugh in your ocean and keep them safe on your shore. But no matter what, don’t forget your power, your beauty, your depth and your ability to heal people.

Be your own planet. Find the parts of yourself you can live with and change the ones that can destroy you. Surround yourself with good energy and fill your space with people who want to live with you, who want to discover you and people who don’t want to live on any other planet.
Be your own universe because you are part of it and everything in the universe is a reflection of you.

Be your own universe and don’t be afraid of your own greatness.

Flying With Struggles

It may seem odd to think of flying with struggle but that is exactly what life is all about. You simply cannot fly in life without there being a struggle. Why is that?

Life Is Not About

Life is not just about doing everything at once, nor is it about having everything you want or desire without the
effort , struggle, or failures that are encountered.

For many people, dreams are as far as they ever get in realizing what they want in life. Their dreams are made up of what they see on the surface when they view what other people seem to have, beautiful homes, fancy cars, going out to dinner and shows, having exotic vacations, a cottage or a boat. What they do not see below the surface is all the effort, toil, and dedication it took to get where they are today. It is a lot easier to think about the current rather than the steps that led these types of people to the present.

What Can Be Done Easily?

In fact, what do you know that can be done without a bit of struggle? Could it be acquiring an education, or learning a new skill, or developing a successful business, or an accomplished painter, musician, or athlete? Well, the answer is obvious; none of these were acquired without work, effort, struggle, overcoming obstacles, perseverance , giving up free time, or long hours of frustration until a skill was developed.

Let Us Turn For A Moment To Another Viewpoint

What if you could give your child, a friend, or a stranger everything they wanted without them having to take any effort at all, or even the tiniest bit of work to get it. Would that person appreciate what they now have; would they know how to even maintain the lifestyle, or would they know how to keep the business moving forward and not go in a downward spiral?

There is some debate among parents of this new generation about the question of whether our children have been given so much that they now expect everything all at once.

My Friend’s Son

A case in point is a friend of mine who has a son who is now in his late twenties. It is not that he doesn’t have a good paying job and a really nice house. Actually his house is a lot better and bigger than I ever had at his age. But, he is not satisfied with what he has; he wants everything else right now, not tomorrow, but right now.

And, what he wants is a bigger house, a fancier car, and all the newest gadgets that come on the market. There is never a thought given to the matter that he should work a little longer and save his money for there is comprehension that he shouldn’t have it all. Maybe there is something to the point of view that says that we have spoiled our children to expect more than what they should normally expect and then expect all of these worldly possessions to keep coming their way when they move out and are on their own.

The Situation with My Friend’s Son

Now, the situation with my friend’s son is one where his son calls him and complains that life is difficult and that he is having a hard time getting what he wants. The discussion usually then turns to waiting a little longer and working to save money but this discussion usually ends with his son still being disappointed with his life.

Into each life must come the work, the sacrifice and the satisfaction from being able to provide for your family, but there is little room for just wanting when waiting, working and patience could get it done.

All Of Us Have And Need

All of us need a bit of hardship, struggle, learning to overcome obstacles, understanding perseverance, and developing an attitude that speaks loudly about accepting responsibility for one’s own destiny.

According to going by faith blog, reference to pastor Rick Warren.

The more you pray, the less you’ll panic. The more you worship, the less you worry. You’ll feel more patient and less pressured.

This is your opportunity to face your fear in faith. Allow God into the dark places of your heart.
